• Beautifully crafted and ethically hand-loomed by traditional woman artisans from the Himalayan belt. Drape it over your bed or cozy up on the couch on those cold winter nights while watching a movie or reading a book. It makes a perfect housewarming or winter wedding gift. Our throws are made from 100% merino wool, and natural dyes, individually touched by human hands making them unique and heirlooms to be cherished and passed down. Any slight imperfection is an individual expression of that artisan’s “perfect” handy work.

• Wool has excellent natural dirt-resistant properties which makes it unnecessary to wash often. Let your blanket air outside in humid weather. If your blanket still needs maintenance, please dry clean only. Iron at medium temperature. Do not tumble dry or use bleach.

  
  

• In remote villages, tucked into the Himalayan mountain belt of North India, members of the self-help group Maati Collective are revitalizing woolen crafts by combining traditional techniques and natural materials with modern designs.
