These lovely eco-friendly baskets are made with natural banana fibers and strengthened with a steel wire. These handcrafted storage baskets work equally well as storage and decoration throughout your home. You can use it for displaying greenery, storing children's toys in the playroom, collecting toilet paper or bath napkins in your bathroom, or organizing gardening tools in the yard. Nesting capabilities easily allow you to store the baskets when not in use.
Color - Natural. Slight variation in the color of the fiber is to be expected.

Story
The banana fiber products literally come from nature. Handmade by local women in South India to provide better income opportunities, while also respecting the natural ecology of the region. The fiber used for crocheting this product is locally available and it's made out of the "dead" leaves of the banana trees. These leaves, previously considered waste, are now getting a new life in the form of contemporary and sustainable design innovation.
The banana leaves are spliced by hand to extract fiber strips followed by twining to make different thickness ropes which are then hand crocheted and woven to make these eco-friendly storage baskets.
Products are handmade and each piece is unique therefore any slight imperfection is an individual expression of that artisan’s “perfect” handy work.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Terra Klay only replaces items if they are defective or damaged. Only regular-priced items can be returned. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be returned.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping on the original order will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Terra Klay does not guarantee that they will receive your returned item.
