Description From Erindale Tapestry Studio

Nothing says cozy quite like a full sheepskin on a bench, chair, bay window seat, or the floor next to your bed. With a luxurious, springy fleece from our sheep, you might as well cuddle up and disappear! This also makes a great gift item for warming a home. Garment grade tanned to stay supple with its full fleece, this is sure to be a cuddle win-win.

Natural white. 45 inches long, 24 inches wide at the belly. The staple (length of the wool fiber) is 2 inches long at the center of the back. Staple lengths vary, being longer at the "pants" and shorter near the neck.

Maintain fluffiness and comb out dirt with a burr brush (commonly available in the horse section of a fleet store).

Erindale Tapestry Studio is grounded on artist Laura Berlage's family farm in northern Wisconsin, in a yurt overlooking the orchards and gardens. Laura's passion for expression through fiber began in her childhood, blooming in her teens with tapestry weaving. With a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Arts, Laura’s mission is to liberate the creative soul. She now hosts an active fiber arts teaching practice in balance with working on the family farm.

At Laura's family regenerative farm, they believe soulful, small-scale, sustainably minded agrarianism can regenerate the soil, build and feed community, foster wildlife, and inspire positive change. They're on a mission to offer a living example of a balanced ecosystem through engaged regenerative and biodynamic practices, with a vision for a healthy planet and all its inhabitants.

The Erindale Tapestry Studio fiber arts kits are made out of wool from the farm's happy resident sheep and yarn that is beautifully hand dyed and locally spun at a woman-owned fiber mill in WI. Each kit comes with everything needed to start and complete the project and a video tutorial by Laura herself, walking through each step. These kits make an excellent purchase or gift for anyone!
