Fair Trade vanilla beans from the Amazon Basin of Ecuador are grown and hand-picked on small-scale farms. Fragrant beans are filled with moist oleoresin "caviar". The beans and caviar can be used on their own in a variety of cooking and baking recipes.
You can also use these beans to make vanilla extract! For vanilla extract, simply split the beans lengthwise, pop them in a bottle, and fill it with vodka (bottle and vodka not provided). Wait 1 month, and your vanilla is ready! Buy the vanilla extract kit which includes the bottle here.
