Truly one-of-a-kind treasures, the center motifs express the Maya view of the world that everything is interconnected, with different threads of the same fabric, and that nature and cosmic unity exist through diversity. Geometric motifs represent the relation between the universe, the earth, and humanity. Motifs depicting plants and flowers reflect the relationship with nature.
