In 2002, Steve and Terri Irwin founded Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors as a way to include and involve the public in the protection of injured, threatened, or endangered wildlife. Their mission to create a world where people and wildlife can prosper together has translated to rehabilitation projects throughout Australia, as well as global conservation projects for endangered species.
