Who made this product? Four brothers in Antigua, Guatemala started El Tun twenty-five years ago to preserve and share their traditional methods of weaving. They inherited a rich history of passion and quality which is spun into each fiber on their looms, powered by nothing more than the pulse of their feet. It’s from the very beat of their foot on the treadle that these four brothers took their name. El Tun references the traditional drum found throughout Guatemala. The steady beat of their work preserves both tradition and their environment by forgoing machinery. These towels are a few of their products carried by Sobremesa
Why is it ethical? Sobremesa by Greenheart works directly with the artisans to ensure fair trade principles are upheld. These artisans forgo robot machinery for good old-fashioned foot-powered looms that won't leave a carbon footprint on the environment.

Terra Klay's products are authentic because they are the masterful creation of each home-based, skilled artisan. No mass production factories are involved. Instead, each piece is expertly crafted by hand. No two pieces are exactly alike. Slight imperfections add to the real handmade nature of the craft without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Terra Klay only replaces items if they are defective or damaged. Only regular-priced items can be returned. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be returned.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping on the original order will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Terra Klay does not guarantee that they will receive your returned item.
